Shannon Perrine co-anchors Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 weekdays at 5 p.m.

She is a proud Pittsburgher who has been happy to call WTAE home since 1999, when she was hired as a general assignment reporter. Prior to that, Shannon was a reporter at WGAL, WTAE’s sister station in Lancaster, Pa. While Shannon got her journalism and political science degree from the University of Delaware, she grew up in Moon Township.

Shannon has been honored with many awards, including the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for anchoring.

In her spare time, she is active in her church and is a volunteer Sunday school teacher. Shannon, her husband and three children reside in the South Hills.
