Michelle Wright anchors Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 every weekday morning.

A native of Lynchburg, Va. and a graduate of Liberty University, Michelle arrived at WTAE in 1994. She has been honored with many awards including three Regional Emmy awards.

Michelle participates in many various charity events in her spare time. She serves as a media spokesperson for Race for the Cure, Project Bundle Up and the National Alliance for Mental Health.

Michelle’s hobbies include reading, watching movies, shopping for antiques and raising bee colonies—a hobby she discovered after reporting on the demise of the honeybee. Michelle is a wife and mother of two children.
