Ford confirmed earlier this year that it was finally bringing the Bronco back for 2020. While there aren't many official details from Ford about the long-awaited truck, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect, and some concept renderings to whet our appetites. The folks over at Bronco6G.com sent us their vision of a four-door Bronco, and it's pretty cool looking! Let's hope the real thing looks this good. The fan forum updated its concept of what the truck could look like when word got out that the truck would be a Ranger-based four-door. These drawings also reflect the upcoming Bronco's rumored removable roof panels. Reportedly dubbed "Air Roof," the Bronco will have snap-out roof panels not unlike those on a Jeep Renegade.Ford is planning on offering an off-road version of the Bronco to compete with the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, but that will slot under the F-150 Raptor. The Bronco might also get solid front and rear axles supplied by Dana, the same company that makes the upgraded axles for the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The Bronco will share a platform with the next-generation Ranger pickup truck, so both will likely get similar engine and transmission options. There's also some rumbling that both the Bronco and Ranger will make their debut at next year's Detroit Auto Show in January.Until then, these renderings will be our best idea of what the Bronco could look like. Head over to Bronco6G.com to see even more renderings.
