CEO of Shell says plant is more than 70% complete

The Shell Cracker Plant in Monaca, Beaver County, is expected to be operational in the year 2022.That’s according to the CEO of Shell, who says the multi-billion-dollar petrochemical plant is more than 70% complete.The plant will break down ethane molecules to produce pellets that can be used to make plastics for products ranging from automotive parts to food packages.Shell has said it will create 600 permanent jobs once the complex opens.

The Shell Cracker Plant in Monaca, Beaver County, is expected to be operational in the year 2022.
