Le'Veon Bell released by Baltimore Ravens: Report
Le'Veon Bell's return to the AFC North turned out to be a brief stay. The running back has been released by the Baltimore Ravens, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Tuesday.
Bell tweeted that "this hurts, but it's been a blessing to be here to say the least," and that he enjoyed his short time in Baltimore.
The Ravens signed the 29-year-old Bell to their practice squad in September, after running backs J.K. Dobbins and Justice Hill suffered season-ending injuries.
Bell played in just five games for the Ravens, rushing for 83 yards and two touchdowns.
During his time with the Steelers from 2013 to 2017, Bell was a two-time first-team All-Pro and a three-time Pro Bowl selection. He moved on to play for the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs over the last two seasons.
