Students in Beaver County said thank you to a longtime school custodian on Wednesday.
Gino Stevens is retiring after nearly 40 years with the Hopewell Area School District.
Wednesday was "Dress like Gino Day" at Margaret Ross Elementary School in Aliquippa.
To say goodbye, students were encouraged to dress like him. Many students wore fake mustaches.
"I'm glad to be honored, to have these kids show me that they appreciate what I did for them. I mean, these kids, I treat them as if they were my own," Stevens said.
The special sendoff included a parade, bubbles, smoke cannons and a plaque from the Parent Teacher Association.
