Continuing a tradition, the Pittsburgh Penguins are providing a special delivery to season ticket holders.Pittsburgh's Action News 4 was there as team captain Sidney Crosby delivered tickets to a family in the North Hills on Monday.Special delivery from Sid: Watch the video above.He was one of 14 Pittsburgh Penguins players hand-delivering packages to Penguins season ticket holders.Crosby also helped Will Jackson, a North Hills High School student, with a sign for his homecoming proposal."It's homecoming, and I was asking a girl out to be my date, and I thought it would be cool because she loves hockey and her brother plays hockey," Jackson said.His proposal worked; she said yes!"To get to do this with our kids and have Will do his homecoming sign — this was just really, really amazing," Karen Jackson, Will's mother, said. "Sid is just incredible."Crosby continued a tradition that began in 2007 but that took a hiatus due to the pandemic. Crosby said "it still feels normal" getting back to bringing smiles to fans' faces in this way.The Penguins begin preseason play on Sunday with a game against the Columbus Blue Jackets at PPG Paints Arena. The season starts on Oct. 13 at home against the Arizona Coyotes.

He was one of 14 Pittsburgh Penguins players hand-delivering packages to Penguins season ticket holders.
