INCLUDING THIS ONE RIGHT HERE AT THE PETERSEN EVENTS CENTER. >> I THINK IT’S REALLY AWESOME THE WAY WE HAVE SUPPORT FOR OUR OWN PITTSBURGH KID AND BEING DOWN HERE IN OAKLAND IT JUST REALLY RESONATES AND WE WISH HIM WELL TO HIM AND HIS FAMILY. >> PEOPLE ALL OVER THE PITTSBURGH AREA AND IN THE COUNTRY ARE STANDING IN SOLIDARITY WITH DAMAR HAMLIN OFFERING SUPPORT DURING HIS RECOVERY. >> IT SHOWS THAT WE REALLY CARE ABOUT EVERYONE THAT WE WILL GO THE EXTRA LENGTH TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE FEELS INCLUDED AND HE FEEL SUPPORT THAT WE ARE REALLY PRAYING FOR HIM AND HOPING HE GETS BETTER. >> THIS WEEKEND SEVERAL EVENTS ARE PLANNED FOR THE MCKEES ROCKS NATIVE CENTRAL CATHOLIC STANDOUT AND UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH STAR. >> THE FACT THAT EVERYONE IS GOING TO LEND A HAND TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE FEEL SUPPORTED. >> ON SATURDAY PITT WILL PLAY CLEMSON FOR A MEN’S BASKETBALL GAME AT THE PETERSEN EVENTS CENTER. THEY ARE INVITED TO SIGN A BANNER FOR THE BUFFALO BILLS SAFETY WHO DOCTORS SAY WENT INTO CARDIAC ARREST ON THE FIELD DURING MONDAY NIGHT’S GAME. THE BANNER WILL BE AVAILABLE TO SIGN DURING PREGAME FROM 3 TO 3:50 P.M ON THE UPPER CONCOURSE LEVEL BEHIND SECTIONS 224 AND 225 THAT’S ADJACENT TO THE DOUBLE ESCALATORS. AND FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY THE CITY-COUNTY BUILDING WILL BE LIT UP RED AND BLUE AS THE ENTIRE CITY CONTINUES TO PRAY FOR HAMLIN AND HIS FAMILY. THE MCKEES ROCKS COMMUNITY IS GATHERING FOR PRAYER AT STO-ROX JUNIOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL FIELD AT 4:30PM. AND NFL CLUBS ARE DEMONSTRATING LEAGUE-WIDE SUPPORT BY WEARING NUMBER "3" PATCHES PAINTING FIELDS AND OUTLINING THE "3" IN EACH 30-YARD LINE NUMBER. AND DURING WARMUPS PLAYER CAN WEAR T-SHIRTS THAT SAY "LOVE FOR DAMAR." >> THE GAME STARTS AT 4:00 P.M. AND THE BANNER WILL BE DISPLAYED.

People from the Pittsburgh area and around the country are standing in solidarity with Damar Hamlin and offering support during his recovery.Several events are planned this weekend for the Buffalo Bills safety, a McKees Rocks native who was a Central Catholic High School standout and University of Pittsburgh football star.On Saturday, Pitt played Clemson in a men's basketball game at Petersen Events Center. Fans were invited to sign a banner for Hamlin, who doctors said went into cardiac arrest on the field during Monday night's game in Cincinnati.The banner was available to sign during pregame and was displayed during the game. Also, the City-County Building in downtown Pittsburgh will be lit up in red and blue through Monday as the city continues to pray for Hamlin and his family.And the McKees Rocks community will gather for prayer at the Sto-Rox Junior/Senior High School football field at 4:30 p.m. Monday.NFL teams are demonstrating league-wide support by wearing number "3" patches, painting fields and outlining the "3" in each 30-yard line number. And during warmups, players can wear shirts that say "Love for Damar."
