Flashback to January 31 years ago: A 34-year-old Bill Cowher arrived in Pittsburgh to be introduced as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It was the beginning of a career that would culminate in the Crafton native's election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Cowher coached the Steelers for 15 seasons. From 1992 to 2006, he led the team to the playoffs 10 times, including eight division titles. He coached the Steelers to two Super Bowl appearances and one championship -- the "one for the thumb" that had long eluded them.
