Pitt will play Syracuse at Yankee Stadium in 2023

The Pitt Panthers will play Syracuse at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York, during the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference football season.The game, scheduled for Nov. 11, will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the first college football game played at the original Yankee Stadium.Ticket information will be posted at yankees.com/football.Pitt's entire 2023 ACC football schedule will be announced Monday night.Syracuse defeated Pitt 3-0 at the first Yankee Stadium on Oct. 20, 1923. The stadium was rebuilt in 1976 and replaced with the current Yankee Stadium in 2009.Yankee Stadium is also the home of the Pinstripe Bowl. Pitt played Northwestern in the 2016 edition of the college football bowl game.
