Reading dogs visit Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf students

Friday was a special day at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.As Read Across America Week wrapped up, students had a chance to read to reading dogs that were visiting the school in Edgewood.The dogs are trained to sit with students and listen as well as look at the book to help give students confidence to more fluently read.The middle school teacher behind the special reading day did it in honor of her mother.
