Pirates catcher Austin Hedges has been placed on the seven-day concussion injured list, the team announced Tuesday.With Hedges out, catcher Tyler Heineman has joined the big-league club from Triple-A Indianapolis and is in the starting lineup for Tuesday night's game in Boston.Right-handed pitcher Edwin Uceta was designated for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster.The Pirates have not said how or when Hedges was injured. Hedges played the first three games of the season, going 0-for-7 overall and scoring a run on opening day.Jason Delay was behind the plate Monday night.
