Remembering Lou Pappan: Pittsburgh restaurant founder leaves legacy across the region
Lou Pappan passed away recently
Lou Pappan, the founder of Pappan’s Family Restaurants, has recently passed away.Allegheny County Controller Corey O’Connor posted a message to Facebook late Tuesday night, saying he was sad to hear of Pappan’s passing.Pappan was friends with O’Connor’s father, the late Pittsburgh Mayor Bob O’Connor.Corey O’Connor wrote in part, “Over the years, Lou touched the lives of so many people in this region as a successful businessman and genuine individual. I am confident that his legacy will continue to live on for many years to come.I extend my condolences to the entire Pappan family during this difficult time.”Lou Pappan was 92 years old.

Lou Pappan, the founder of Pappan’s Family Restaurants, has recently passed away.
Allegheny County Controller Corey O’Connor posted a message to Facebook late Tuesday night, saying he was sad to hear of Pappan’s passing.
