A Virginia couple decided to renew their wedding vows Sunday near the Boston Marathon finish line after their initial plans to get married by the marathon finish on Boylston Street were derailed.Tim Suhr and Cherry Rose wore unicorn costumes when they renewed their vows the day before the running of the 127th Boston Marathon. The 2020 marathon, however, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.The couple ended up getting married on New Year's Day 2021, but they did so without friends or family due to the ongoing pandemic. Suhr and Rose made plans then to renew their wedding vows at the Boston Marathon finish line when they got the opportunity.Suhr is running his third Boston Marathon this year, so he and his wife brought an ordained minister and some of their loved ones with them to witness the vow renewal on Boylston Street.
