TONIGHT IN THE HOURS LEADING UP TO THE SECOND NIGHT OF THE DRAFT, STEELERS FANS WHO WERE WAITING IN LINE OUTSIDE STAGE A WE’RE TAKING BETS ON WHO WOULD BE THE 32ND OVERALL PICK AND THE NEXT TO DON BLACK AND GOLD. ONE NAME OVER AND OVER KEPT COMING UP. JOEY PORTER JR PORTER PROBABLY HELPING FOR JOEY PORTER JR SO YOU COULD IMAGINE THE REACTION INSIDE STAGE A WHEN FANS GOT THEIR WISH. A sea of black and gold washed over Stage AE Friday night as the Pittsburgh Steelers hosted a free draft party for fans.Steeler Nation celebrates the draft: Watch the video above."We never lose our energy," said Christine Matthews, who drove from Cleveland for the party. "Steelers Nation, we keep the energy all year round."The party featured music, food, drinks and guest appearances from some prominent Steelers. Cameron Heyward held a live taping on stage for his podcast, featuring guests like Pat Freiermuth, Kenny Pickett and the team's first-round draft pick, offensive lineman Broderick Jones."I feel like he's going to keep Kenny safe," Tiona Jones — no relation — said of the 21-year-old out of Georgia. "He's going to put a pillow around Kenny and keep him upright."Fans are also eager to see the defensive skills of second-round pick Joey Porter Jr., a cornerback out of Penn State, who the Steelers drafted more than two decades after drafting his father."Joey Porter Jr. — a legacy," said David Kuszaj.
