I LOVE THIS. HAPPENING NOW, A TRADITION LIVES ON IN PITTSBURGH’S OAKLAND NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE SAINT NICHOLAS GREEK FOOD FESTIVAL IS UNDERWAY. FOR MORE THAN 60 YEARS, THE GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH ON SOUTH DETROIT STREET HAS OFFERED NOT ONLY TRADITIONAL GREEK EATS, BUT ALSO MUSIC AND DANCE. For more than 60 years, the Greek Orthodox Church on South Dithridge Street has offered not only traditional Greek eats but also music and dance. The festival runs Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with music until midnight. The festival wraps up on May 13.
