The Steelers have signed running back Alfonzo Graham, an undrafted free agent who was invited to the team's rookie minicamp on the South Side last weekend.
In two seasons at Morgan State, Graham rushed for 1,656 yards and 13 touchdowns. Graham also caught 31 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown. He returned kickoffs for the Bears as well, averaging 22.3 yards on 18 returns.
The 5-foot-9-inch, 195-pound Graham was named to the All-MEAC team last year, as he led the conference in rushing with 1,150 yards and ran for eight touchdowns.
Graham is the latest undrafted rookie to sign with the Steelers, joining wide receiver Jordan Byrd (San Diego State), quarterback Tanner Morgan (Minnesota), defensive end James Nyamwaya (Merrimack), linebacker David Perales (Fresno State/Sacramento State), fullback Monte Pottebaum (Iowa) and kicker B.T. Potter (Clemson).
