Steelers sign quarterback Mason Rudolph
Mason Rudolph is returning for an encore appearance in black and gold.
The free agent quarterback has signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced Wednesday.

A third-round selection from Oklahoma State in the 2018 draft, Rudolph has played in 17 career games for Pittsburgh.
Rudolph made eight starts in 2019 after Ben Roethlisberger underwent elbow surgery. Rudolph also started the 2020 regular-season finale and one game in 2021.
Rudolph did not appear in a game last year while serving as the third-string quarterback behind rookie Kenny Pickett and veteran Mitch Trubisky.
Rudolph is 5-4-1 as a starter for Pittsburgh. Overall, he has thrown for 2,366 yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in his career.
