Mason Rudolph just signed a one year deal to be the Black and Gold's third string and on Friday, the team made it official for back up passer Mitch Trubisky.
The Steelers signed Trubisky to a new three year contract. Trubisky played in seven games, starting five of them, during the 2022 season. He completed 65% of his passes in 2022, for 1,252 yards and four touchdowns.
Trubisky joined the Steelers after spending 2021 backing up Josh Allen in Buffalo. The second overall pick in the 2017 draft previously spent four seasons with the Chicago Bears.
The Steelers will have four quarterbacks when they begin organized team activities,
including undrafted signal-caller Tanner Morgan, a rookie free agent from Minnesota.
