Tina Turner has been doing this for more than 20 years and it doesn't look like she's getting tired yet. She made *** tremendous comeback after splitting with her husband, Ike Turner with the album, Private Dancer in 1984. Some eight million copies later, Tina Turner won three Grammys. Tonight's concert in Albuquerque is just one stop on *** 90 city tour, but there's *** slight difference. Tina Turner gave our city *** break on her usual because the profits will go to *** scholarship fund. The promoters, *** group of volunteers organized by Congressman Manuel Lujan, just like anything else that you promote, you pay all your expenses and then whatever is left over is profit and all of that goes into the scholarship fund. Tonight's proceeds are expected to be in the neighborhood of $50,000. Each year, 22 scholarships will be given to one senior at each high school in the first congressional district.
