One person was taken to the hospital after a fall through a roof at Century III Mall on Friday night, emergency dispatchers said.

The incident happened shortly before 9 p.m.
The patient was taken to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, dispatchers said.
No information was immediately available about the patient's condition.
Pittsburgh's Action News 4 video showed firefighters responding in the area of the boarded-up former JCPenney store.
The mall has been closed for years and was the scene of a fire in April that is being investigated as arson. A condemnation hearing was scheduled for later this month.
