Cooler to Finish the Weekend
NOT NEARLY AS HOT AS IT WAS YESTERDAY, BUT EVEN THIS MORNING, VERY COMFORTABLE. AS YOU STEP OUT THE DOOR. MAYBE YOU’RE HEADING TO THE ARTS FESTIVAL TO BE A GREAT DAY FOR THAT. CHECK OUT OUR LOCAL ARTIST, 65 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN PITTSBURGH, 65. AS YOU WAKE UP IN UNIONTOWN, 63 RIGHT NOW IN BUTLER, 66, IN BEAVER, A LITTLE BIT COOLER, BUT STILL PRETTY PLEASANT THERE IN FRANKLIN AT 56 AND 59, CURRENTLY INTO CLARION. NOW WE DO HAVE A LITTLE BIT MORE CLOUD COVER, BUT YOU CAN SEE THE SUN BREAKING THROUGH, REFLECTING OFF THE MOURNE THERE. AND WE ARE GOING TO SEE CLOUDS CONTINUING TO DECREASE, GRADUALLY BECOMING SUNNY, A LITTLE BIT OF PATCHY FOG DOWN INTO GARRETT COUNTY. SO IF YOU’RE TRAVELING IN THAT AREA THIS MORNING, JUST BE AWARE OF THAT, ESPECIALLY INTO THE MOUNTAINS. BUT ALL IN ALL, VISIBILITY LOOKS PRETTY GOOD AROUND THE REGION. HIGH PRESSURE IS IN PLACE. IT IS PULLING IN SOME COOLER AIR. THIS MORNING, BUT MORE PLEASANT AIR. WE GOT UP, THE HUMIDITY WAS UP A TAD. THAT’S WHY WE HAD SOME OF THOSE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING. BUT OVERALL, WE ARE GOING TO SEE QUIET CONDITIONS THROUGH THE DAY. CLOUDS WILL DECREASE. WATCHING A COLD FRONT COMING IN ON TUESDAY. NOW, WE’RE NOT EXPECTING THE HUMIDITY TO BE UP, SO I DON’T THINK ANY SEVERE STORMS. BUT OVERALL, WE WILL HAVE A CHANCE FOR SOME SHOWERS TUESDAY AFTERNOON. WE NEED THE RAIN AROUND THE AREA, BUT WE’RE NOT GOING TO GET SIGNIFICANT RAIN AND NOT EVERYONE IS GOING TO SEE THESE SHOWERS. WE’RE GOING TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK HERE AT FUTURE CAST CLOUDS CONTINUE TO DECREASE. AGAIN, SUNSHINE EXPECTED THROUGHOUT THE DAY, MOSTLY CLEAR TONIGHT WITH A FEW CLOUDS COMING IN AFTER MIDNIGHT. SO WE WILL HAVE A FEW CLOUDS WAKING UP EARLY MONDAY, WAVE OF CLOUDS WILL PASS THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON. THEN WE’LL FINISH OUT THE DAY WITH MORE SUNSHINE AND DRY CONDITIONS ON MONDAY. AGAIN, AS WE HEAD INTO TUESDAY. RIGHT NOW DOES LOOK LIKE A DRY START. AND AS THAT COLD FRONT GETS A LITTLE BIT CLOSER, WE’RE GOING TO NOTICE SOME OF THESE SHOWERS COULD HEAR A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER, BUT AGAIN, DOESN’T LOOK TO BE SEVERE. WE WILL BE KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON IT. BUT AROUND ONE, 2:00 ON TUESDAY COULD PASS THROUGH PARTS OF BEAVER, BUTLER, ALLEGHENY, SLIDING THROUGH WESTMORELAND AND WASHINGTON AND GREENE COUNTY. LIKE I SAID, NOT A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF RAIN THAT’S GOING TO MAKE A DENT IN THAT DROUGHT MONITOR. AS WE LOOK, WE’RE STILL IN THE ABNORMAL RANGE, NOT ONLY IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA, BUT PRETTY MUCH THE ENTIRE STATE. AND LOOKING AT OUR RAIN CHANCES THROUGH THE WEEK, EVEN MINIMAL ON TUESDAY. BUT I DO THINK SOME SPOTS WILL SEE SOME OF THOSE SHOWERS PASSING THROUGH. BUT OVERALL, IT’S GOING TO BE ANOTHER DRY WEEK, BUT A LITTLE BIT MORE PLEASANT WITH OUR TEMPERATURES. WE ARE GOING TO BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S THROUGH MOST OF THE WEEK, 80 DEGREES TODAY. IT IS GOING TO BE A NICE ONE. LIGHT BREEZE EXPECTED GRADUALLY BECOMING SUNNY AS WE CONTINUE TONIGHT. MOSTLY CLEAR TO START, PARTLY CLOUDY AFTER MIDNIGHT, DROPPING DOWN INTO THE LOW 50S. SO A PRETTY COMFORTABLE START AS WE GET INTO OUR UPCOMING WORKWEEK. LOOKING AT YOUR FOUR DAY PLUS FOR MORE FORECAST AS THAT COLD FRONT SWEEPS THROUGH TUESDAY, IT KNOCKS OUR TEMPS DOWN A FEW DEGREES AS WE GET INTO WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, A LITTLE BIT MORE PLEASANT OUT, BUT INTO THE UPCOMING WEEKEND, WE’LL BE WATCHING. A SMALL CHANCE FOR A SHOWER SUNDAY. MODELS REALLY AREN’T AGREEING. BUT ALL IN ALL, WE NEED THE RAIN AND WE DO NOT HAVE ANY SIGNIFICANT RAIN IN TH
