TWO KIDS NOW. SO IT IS WHAT IT IS. BUT WE DO WANT TO POINT OUT TODAY WE ARE DEALING AGAIN WITH THAT HAZE AND THE SMOKE. THIS MORNING. YOU CAN SEE THAT HAZY SUNSHINE WE HAVE FAIR SKIES. BUT AGAIN, THAT HAZE COMING IN STILL FROM THE CANADIAN WILDFIRES. AND THAT’S GOING TO LINGER TODAY. AND EVEN AS WE GET INTO TOMORROW. SO AS WE LOOK AT OUR CURRENT AIR QUALITY RIGHT NOW, MOST OF US IN THE POOR, POOR RANGE, ALSO MODERATE, BUT NORTHERLY WINDS ARE TRANSPORTING THIS CANADIAN WILDFIRE SMOKE LEAVING IT AGAIN. THE POOR AIR QUALITY. SO YOU MAY WANT TO LIMIT YOUR TIME OUTDOORS TODAY, ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN. NOW, AS WE LOOK AT OUR SMOKE FORECAST, WE ARE GOING TO SEE THIS CONTINUING TO FILTER IN FROM THE NORTH AS WE GET INTO FRIDAY. COULD BE A LITTLE HAZY FOR A LOT OF THOSE OUTDOOR GRADUATIONS. A LOT OF THE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATIONS TOMORROW EVENING, WE WILL START TO SEE SOME IMPROVEMENT AS WE GET INTO SATURDAY, ESPECIALLY IN THE AFTERNOON, NOON AND EVENING. AND THAT’S, AGAIN, ALL THANKS TO THIS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. NOW WE ARE SEEING THE WILDFIRES FROM QUEBEC. IT’S A LITTLE BIT CLOSER, SO THE SMOKE DOESN’T HAVE TO TRAVEL AS FAR. SO THAT’S WHY ALL ALONG THE EAST COAST, VERY DANGEROUS CONDITIONS. EASTERN PART OF THE STATE IS A LOT WORSE THAN WHAT WE’RE DEALING WITH. BUT IT DOES GET DOWN INTO THE LOWER LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE BECAUSE IT DOESN’T HAVE TO TRAVEL SO FAR. SO AGAIN, THIS LOW IS SPINNING AND BRINGING IN THE SMOKE AND THEN IT’S GOING TO CONTINUE TO PUSH SOUTHWARD IN A LITTLE MORE INLAND. SO UNFORTUNATELY, WE’RE NOT GOING TO SEE ANY RELIEF AS WE GET INTO FRIDAY OR EVEN AS WE GET INTO EARLY SATURDAY. BUT HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN. WE’LL START TO SEE THOSE WINDS SHIFT. THAT LOW IS GOING TO FINALLY MOVE OUT. WE’LL BE WATCHING THIS COLD FRONT WORKING ITS WAY IN, GIVING US RELIEF FROM THE SMOKE AND HAYS. AND IT’S ALSO GOING TO GIVE US A RELIEF WITH THE RAIN. WE NEED THE RAIN. AND THAT’S COMING IN SUNDAY NIGHT AND INTO MONDAY AND TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. CAN’T RULE OUT A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS TODAY, ESPECIALLY IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON. STOPPED HERE AROUND 3:00, HITTING PARTS OF LAWRENCE BEAVER ALLEGHENY, A LITTLE BIT INTO WASHINGTON. AND WESTMORELAND COULD HAVE SOME POCKETS THERE OF RAIN AROUND 6:00 TONIGHT INTO ARMSTRONG, INDIANA, WESTMORELAND AND CAMBRIA COUNTY, A STRAY SHOWER TONIGHT, BUT REALLY MOST OF US STAYING DRY. A FEW POP UP SHOWERS FRIDAY AFTERNOON. BUT FOR ALL THOSE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATIONS, IT DOES LOOK LIKE WE’RE GOING TO DRY OUT. UNFORTUNATELY, IT COULD BE A LITTLE HAZY FOR YOUR GRADUATION GETTING INTO SATURDAY. WE’LL HAVE SOME SUNSHINE AND CLOUDS AND WE’LL START TO SEE IMPROVEMENTS FROM THE HAZE AND SMOKE AS WE GET INTO SATURDAY AFTERNOON. OUR RAIN CHANCES ARE REALLY GOING TO JUMP UP SUNDAY NIGHT AND INTO MONDAY. MORE WIDESPREAD RAIN MONDAY AND STILL SOME SHOWERS LINGERING INTO TUESDAY. IT’S 44 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN PITTSBURGH. SO IT IS A LITTLE BIT COOLER TO KICK IT OFF. 39 KITTANNING AND CLARION UNIONTOWN AT 43 AND 41 IN WASHINGTON. WE’RE GOING TO STAY ON THE COOLER SIDE TODAY. 70 DEGREES FOR OUR HIGH AGAIN, A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS, BUT MAINLY HAZY AND COOL, MOSTLY CLOUDY. TONIGHT WE’LL HAVE SOME HAYS AND A STRAY SHOWER DOWN NEAR 50 DEGREES. AND LOOKING AT YOUR FOUR DAY PLUS FOUR MORE FORECAST TEMPS REBOUND BACK NEAR MORE SEASONAL TEMPERATURES FOR T
