Rossen Reports: New study reveals the hottest real estate markets
This new study from bankrate dot com shows home values are decreasing across much of the country but there has been little change in the Southeast. The researchers looked at hundreds of metro areas, examined everything from home values to job growth, to selling times for houses. And here's what they found. The hottest metro areas coming in at number three, Cape Coral Fort Myers, Florida by Knoxville, Tennessee at number two and number one, Gainesville, Georgia. The area experienced annual home price appreciation of 21% huge. That's how much their home values are going up and the slowest metro areas in the bottom five, Pittsburgh, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the slowest coming in dead last Chico, California.
