An investigation is underway after shots were fired toward two people in downtown Tarentum early Monday morning, according to Allegheny County Police. The incident happened a little before 2:45 a.m. in the area of Corbet Street and E. Sixth Avenue.The man and woman who were shot at suffered minor injuries, but detectives said they were not injured by the gunfire. The two people involved told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 they were walking home from the bar after stopping at a nearby gas station when a vehicle stopped and began firing shots their way.A nearby business owner said she heard roughly seven shots and saw the man and woman run off. On Wednesday morning, Pittsburgh's Action News 4 obtained a criminal complaint for Freedom Brown, 41, of Brackenridge.The criminal complaint said Brown got into a verbal altercation with the victims at a gas station and said she was going to get someone to kill one of them.Police said surveillance video shows Brown later pointing out the victims to two men, of one which fired eight shots at them.As of Wednesday morning, Brown was the only person charged in the case.
