Impact Day with Morning Rain

Impact Day with Morning Rain
UP INTO BEAVER AND LAWRENCE COUNTY. WE’VE HAD SOME POCKETS OF HEAVY RAIN IN THOSE TWO COUNTIES, REALLY PRETTY MUCH ALL MORNING LONG. ALSO, MERCER AND VENANGO AS WELL. BUT OVERALL, NOT ONLY THE RAIN, BUT SOME LOWER VISIBILITY AS YOU STEP OUT. THE DOOR. WE’RE DOWN ABOUT 4 TO 5 MILES THERE INTO WESTMORELAND, ALLEGHENY, INDIANA, NOW, DOWN ABOUT SIX MILES INTO BUTLER, DOWN TO A THREE MILE VISIBILITY INTO LAWRENCE, BEAVER AND VENANGO COUNTIES. SO JUST BE AWARE AS YOU STEP OUT THE DOOR, YOU WILL HIT SOME RAIN AND ALSO SOME AREAS OF PATCHY FOG. NICE THING IS THIS FRONT MOVES THROUGH RELATIVELY QUICKLY, BUT THEN THIS LOW IS ACTUALLY GOING TO WRAP BACK AROUND AND BRING MORE RAIN INTO THE AREA AS WE GET INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THAT’S GOING TO LINGER INTO WEDNESDAY, ESPECIALLY THE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY. SLOWLY WE’LL START TO SEE THESE SHOWERS TAPER OFF. BUT IT’S A SOGGY START TO THE WEEK, A LITTLE BIT COOLER, UPPER 60S, LOW 70S, BUT IT DOES LOOK LIKE WE’RE GOING TO DRY OUT FOR FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND. SO OUR SETUP FOR TODAY AROUND LUNCHTIME, WE’LL STILL HAVE A FEW SHOWERS THERE INTO INDIANA, CAMBRIA AND SOMERSET. OTHERWISE MOSTLY CLOUDY, A SPRINKLE OR TWO AS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON, BUT YOU’LL NOTICE CLOUDS DECREASING. WE ARE GOING TO SEE SOME SUNSHINE AS THE SUN SETS THIS EVENING. PARTLY CLOUDY INTO THE OVERNIGHT, KICKING IT OFF WITH SOME SUNSHINE ON TUESDAY. BUT YOU WANT TO HAVE THOSE UMBRELLAS ON STANDBY AS RAIN WILL BE COMING IN LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. COULD HAVE A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER. SOME ISOLATED STORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. WE’RE STILL GOING TO HAVE SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS AROUND. SO HERE’S HOW MUCH RAIN WE’RE LOOKING AT. SOME AREAS COULD SEE UP TO A HALF AN INCH THROUGH THE DAY TODAY. THEN AS WE GET INTO TUESDAY AND EARLY WEDNESDAY, WE’RE GOING TO ADD ANOTHER QUARTER TO A HALF AN INCH. SO IN TOTAL, OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, HALF AN INCH TO AN INCH OF RAIN EXPECTED. BUT AGAIN, WE ALL NEED THE RAIN AROUND THE AREA. 63 RIGHT NOW IN PITTSBURGH, 63 AS YOU WAKE UP IN BUTLER, BEAVER AND NEWCASTLE, IT’S 64, CURRENTLY IN GREENSBURG AND UNIONTOWN, WAKING UP AT 65. A LITTLE BIT COOLER TODAY, ONLY IN THE UPPER 60S. IT’S AN IMPACT DAY BECAUSE OF THE SHOWERS THIS MORNING. MOSTLY CLOUDY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON, BUT CLOUDS WILL DECREASE. COOLER AND BREEZY THROUGH THE DAY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT, WE’RE DOWN NEAR 50 DEGREES. AND LOOKING AT YOUR FOUR DAY PLUS FOUR MORE FORECAST CAST INTO THE UPPER 60S AND LOW 70S THROUGH WEDNESDAY, THEN BACK UP MID TO UPPER 70S TO FINISH OUT THE WEEK. STILL A CHANCE FOR A FEW SHOWERS ON THURSDAY, BUT RIGHT NOW FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND SHAPING UP TO BE PRETTY NICE. IT’S STILL KIND OF EARLY BUT L
