KALEY. WELL, MIKE, KRISTEN, POLICE JUST GIVING US THIS UPDATE THAT A WOMAN WAS KILLED, ANOTHER WOMAN WAS HURT AND A MAN IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION RIGHT NOW. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS SCENE BEHIND ME. POLICE TELL US THEY ARRIVED TO THIS HOME HERE IN THE 2500 BLOCK OF ALIQUIPPA STREET IN WEST OAKLAND. THEY FOUND. TWO WOMEN HERE AT THE HOME, ONE IN CLEARLY IN CRITICAL CONDITION. THEY RUSHED HER TO THE HOSPITAL. BUT SHORTLY AFTER THAT, THEY SAID SHE DIED. AGAIN, THAT SECOND WOMAN IS STABLE, BUT BUT SHORTLY AFTER THEY GOT TO THE SCENE, THEY FOUND OUT THAT A MAN HAD GOT HIMSELF SOMEHOW TO A HOSPITAL. HE IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION. POLICE STILL ON SCENE. IT’S VERY ACTIVE. MAJOR CRIMES DETECTIVES ARE HERE TRYING TO PIECE TOGETHER WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE THOSE SHOTS WERE FIRED. BUT THEY SAID THAT AT THIS POINT, THEY DO BELIEVE THAT THE SHOOTING INVOLVED ONLY THOSE THREE VICTIMS. LISTEN TO WHAT POLICE SAID. WE DON’T AT THIS POINT. WE WILL FOLLOW UP WITH THE VICTIMS WHO WERE SHOT. IF THERE ARE ANY WITNESSES, WILL FOLLOW UP WITH THEM. AND WE’LL HAVE A PROBABLY A CLEARER PICTURE SOMETIME TOMORROW AS THOUGH WHAT ACTUALLY OCCURRED HERE, WHAT PRECIPITATED THIS AND WE ASKED POLICE IF THERE IS A CHANCE THAT THERE IS ANOTHER SUSPECT SOMEHOW AT LARGE AND SOMEONE ELSE WHO MAY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THIS. A shooting in West Oakland has left one woman dead and a man and a woman injured Tuesday evening. Allegheny County 911 confirmed police and emergency medical services had been sent to the 2500 block of Allequippa Street around 9:30 p.m. According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, police responded to two separate ShotSpotter alerts for a total of nine shots fired.Police found two women at the scene. Emergency medical services transported one to the hospital in critical condition. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. Medics transported the other woman to a separate hospital in stable condition, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety. A third victim, a man, arrived by private means at a local hospital in critical condition. Police say they believe the shooting involved only the three victims.On Wednesday morning, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office said the woman who was killed is Tanika L Paul, 29, of Pittsburgh.Pittsburgh police continue to investigate this deadly shooting.This is a developing story.
