It was a busy weekend in Pittsburgh. Thousands of fans flocked to the North Shore for two sold-out Taylor Swift concerts at Acrisure Stadium. Just across the river, Black heritage and culture were on full display Friday for the Juneteenth Grand Jubilee Parade.When Taylor Swift hit the stage, it didn't seem to matter if you were inside the walls, on the lawn or in the river. Fans everywhere expressed their excitement. One Swiftie summed it up this way: "It's a good time, and the party will continue on even after she's done."Across the city, the Juneteenth Grand Jubilee Parade was attracting crowds too, moving from the Lower Hill into Downtown."We're hoping to have this weekend close to 50,000 people, particularly with the Taylor Swift people coming in," said William Marshall, organizer of the parade. "So that's just gonna enhance our celebration."Juneteenth celebrations continue through Monday in the city.The Swiftsburgh celebration ended Saturday night. Acrisure Stadium said 73,117 fans attended the second concert, making it the largest crowd in the stadium's history. Inside or out, everyone was making the most of it. Patricia MacWilliams came from Maryland to experience the show outside Acrisure. She said with a laugh, "You take what you can get. We can still see her. ...We can still see the trash cans — we can see her right over them."
