YEAH, CHANDI AS YOU SAID, WE DO KNOW THAT TWO PEOPLE ARE DEAD. THAT’S ACCORDING TO BEAVER COUNTY 911 WHO TOLD US THAT THIS HAPPENED EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON ON KLINE ROAD HERE IN NEW SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP IN BEAVER COUNTY. YOU CAN SEE AT THE END OF THIS LONG DRIVEWAY, POLICE HAVE PUT UP A STAGING AREA. WE SAW REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE CORONER’S OFFICE, AS WELL AS DISTRICT ATTORNEY DAVID LOZIER. WE’VE SEEN SOME MOVEMENT FROM PEOPLE AT THE END OF THIS DRIVEWAY GOING IN AND OUT, WE BELIEVE TO BE HOUSE OBSCURED BY THE TREES. YOU CAN’T SEE IT IN OUR LIVE SHOT RIGHT NOW. BUT I MENTIONED DAVID LOZIER BEING ON THE SCENE. HE DID TELL US THAT ONE PERSON IS IN CUSTODY TONIGHT, DID NOT MENTION ANY PENDING POTENTIAL PENDING CRIMINAL CHARGES. BUT SAID THAT PERSON IS IN CUSTODY AFTER WHAT HE DESCRIBED AS A HOSTAGE SITUATION. HE SAID SWAT FORCES WERE HERE. WE DON’T KNOW MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THIS SHOOTING OR ANY MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE VICTIMS. BUT AGAIN, TWO PEOPLE HAVE BEEN KILLED IN A SHOOTING EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON IN THIS RELATIVELY QUIET AREA OF NEW SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP. I DID HAVE A CHANCE TO SPEAK TO A NEIGHBOR ACROSS THE STREET. SHE SAID SHE WAS JUST DOING YARD WORK AS SHE WOULD ON A NORMAL SATURDAY AFTERNOON. SHE SAID SHE HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE UP TO FIVE GUNSHOT S. IT STARTLED HER. NORMALLY THAT WOULD NOT BE UNUSUAL BECAUSE SHE SAID SOME NEIGHBORS AROUND HERE DO TARGET PRACTICE. BUT THIS FRIGHTENED HER BECAUSE THE GUNSHOT SOUNDED REALLY LOUD, SO SHE IMMEDIATELY KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG. QUICKLY, HER INSTINCTS WERE RIGHT. SHE SAW AN BALANCES COME. POLICE. I HEARD THE SIRENS. WE WERE TOLD ALSO EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON THAT INITIALLY THREE HELICOPTERS WERE DISPATCHED. BUT AGAIN, THEY WERE QUICKLY CANCELED AFTER AUTHORITIES CAME TO THE REALIZATION THAT TWO PEOPLE DIED HERE ON KLINE ROAD. AGAIN, ONE PERSON IS IN CUSTODY AND WE DON’T HAVE THE NAMES OF THE VICTIMS OR THE PERSON IN CUSTODY.
