Deputies hold manatee's head above water for hours to keep it from drowning
This seal is heading back to the sea after being rescued, the friends of horsey seals found the seal caught in netting near Norfolk. The seal who the crew named Esmerelda was cared for by the RS PC *** S East Wins Wildlife Center. After spending over *** month in their care, she was released back into the North Sea and she looked very happy to be heading back to her home. Hopefully, she was able to find her family and friends once she started swimming.

"This manatee is going to die right in front of us, and I’m not letting that happen. We docked the boat, I took off my equipment and got in. We stayed in the water for two hours holding its head up until it could be rescued," Deputy Jill Constant said.
