Just after 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, a call came into Adams County Emergency Dispatch reporting a bear was stuck in a tree.Officials say the bear wandered into town and got stuck in a tree across from the courthouse on Baltimore Street.The Gettysburg Fire Department, police, and Game Wardens were able to get the bear out of the tree by tranquilizing the animal.After crews on the ground caught the bear in a tarp, it was tagged, measured and removed from the scene.
