After the 2006 season, Cowher left the Steelers team offices and headed to Raleigh, N.C., to see his family and finalize a decision about his career.
Four days later, Cowher came back to announce his resignation. Steelers chairman Dan Rooney gave him a trophy ...
... and a goodbye hug.
