Tamika Cody is an investigative producer for Hearst Television's National Investigative Unit. 

Before joining Hearst, Tamika was part of TEGNA's national fact-checking team, VERIFY, where she was a producer and video editor.   

Tamika also covered local news as a visual storyteller and digital journalist at 10 Tampa Bay, the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She also spent time in Fort Myers, where she worked for E.W. Scripps' R&D digital project - HelloSWFL. The project focused on reshaping local news. Tamika wore many hats, including enterprise producer and visual storyteller.

Before venturing into the world of local news, Tamika was a financial journalist in New York City. She covered mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, and the accounting industry.

Tamika, a New York City native, graduated from the University of South Carolina, where she majored in Journalism and Mass Communications.  

Tamika enjoys art and culture, cooking, reading, and yoga.
