The red, yellow and green traffic lights in E-ZPass lanes on the Pennsylvania Turnpike are being removed. The turnpike commission says the current technology and cameras are 16 years old and were installed when E-ZPass was first introduced in Pennsylvania. The turnpike will install high-speed readers that will allow drivers to not slow down.
