Christopher Salas joined Hearst Television's Washington D.C. Bureau in August 2021.

Christopher most recently worked at KSBW Action News 8 in Salinas, California as a weekend anchor and reporter.

During his time with Hearst, Christopher's coverage includes historic California wildfires, deadly tornadoes in Mayfield, Kentucky and the mass shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

Prior to joining Hearst, Christopher worked in Kalispell, Montana as a multimedia journalist.

Christopher was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and received his degree from Florida International University.
