Initiatives

  • (CEO) – Community Entrepreneurial Outreach

CEO is a Community Entrepreneurial Outreach Initiative that offers a series of entrepreneurial boot camps coupled with individualized one-on-one professional coaching. Participants interested in starting their own business will study intensively the foundational skills associated with business start-ups, management, the entrepreneurial mindset, sales, marketing, customer service, strategic planning, fiscal accountability, and more. Individualized one-on-one professional coaching is extended to those who are ready and eager to launch their entrepreneurial venture. Selected participants who successfully complete the boot camps are eligible to obtain incubator space on-site in our newly restored C-clear building under the tutelage of accessible leaders, resources, and other supportive services.

  • Creative Arts & Technology Programs

C-clear offers cutting edge creative arts and technology programs in photography, video (shooting and editing), GigaPan, Lego robotics, video gaming, 3-D printing, silk screening, and jewelry design. These programs offer an exploration in creativity along with the business facets of entrepreneurship that fuel the creative economy.

  • Leadership & Professional Development

Leadership is a niche component and the foundational characteristic of the C-clear programming. Successful participants will implement the leadership and professional skills learned in various aspects of their lives. This includes personal and professional growth, wealth building, and community engagement. We seek to create an inspiring supportive environment, networks of strong leaders, mentors for community youth, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

  • Public Engagement & Community Programs

C-clear hosts a series of programs, meetings and events to promote dialog, information sharing, unity, and community engagement.

  • Urban Java – Youth Barista Initiative

C-clear will spearhead a cutting-edge Youth Barista Initiative in partnership with Urban Java Coffee House, to be located inside our newly restored C-clear building space. Local youth will obtain paid on the job training and learn various aspects of a career in retail including customer service, relationship building, sales, marketing, shift management, handcrafting delicious beverages, and more.

  • The C-clear Building Restoration Project

Currently unoccupied and built in the late 19th century, our new C-clear space is in the inaugural stages of a complete building restoration. Our building is paid in full and boasts over 6, 000 square feet of massive potential. It features two wide open storefronts with two floors of office and programming space located directly above. The enclosed rear outdoor green space is perfect for hosting intimate private and community events, while indoor exhibit space rents for shows and events. The facility will also house our youth barista program and coffee house, “Urban Java.”  Our goal is to transform the building into a central destination for community gatherings, a place for innovative learning, and a cutting-edge business incubator space, stimulating community engagement and our plan for sustainability. This gives aspiring entrepreneurs a platform to develop job creation and new community and economic development.

Tracey and I have made a significant investment with our own financial resources, and we still need help to complete the building restoration.

We sincerely thank and appreciate everyone who has a heart and a vision to help us!
