AN EXCITING NIGHT FOR THE RIVERSIDE BASEBALL TEAM. THEY’RE OFFICIALLY THE UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS AND HAD A WARM WELCOME HOME FROM THE COMMUNITY TO CELEBRATE THE FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT AND OTHER FIRST RESPONDERS WERE ON HAND TO ESCORT THE TEAM. THEY’LL REMEMBER THIS THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. THE RIVERSIDE PANTHERS FINISHED THE SEASON UNDEFEATED WITH A 25 AND ZERO RECORD. IT’S OVERWHELMING. IT’S AMAZING. IT’S IT’S A LONG GRIND, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE A YOU HAVE A TARGET ON YOUR BACK WHEN YOU’RE UNDEFEATED, ESPECIALLY GOING INTO THAT GAME TODAY, THEY WERE 24 AND ZERO, YOU KNOW, AND EVERYBODY’S AFTER YOU. SO KIDS WERE GREAT. THEY HANDLED IT WELL. THIS GROUP IS RESILIENT AND THEY WERE REALLY FUN TO COACH.

The Riverside High School baseball team received a warm welcome home on Thursday after winning the PIAA state championship.
