Tom Garris anchors Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 weekend morning newscasts and reports during the week.

Tom joined the WTAE news team in 2021 after spending three years at NBC5 in Burlington, VT/Plattsburgh, NY, where he was most notably the station’s weekday morning anchor.

He’s a native Pennsylvanian, having grown up in suburban Philadelphia. He’s an alumnus of Ithaca College.

Tom loves to stay active by hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
