Meteorologist Ashley Dougherty forecasts Pittsburgh weather each weekday morning and noon on Pittsburgh's Action News 4.

Ashley is a native of Wampum, Lawrence County. Ashley earned her broadcast meteorology degree from Mississippi State University. She began her career as a meteorologist in Wheeling, W.Va., before arriving at WTAE in 2012. She is a member of the National Weather Association and holds the Seal of Approval.

An animal advocate, Ashley raises awareness of abuse and neglect and is involved in working with animal shelters to help dogs and cats find their forever homes. When she is not forecasting local weather on Pittsburgh's Action News 4, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, daughter and their dog, Bubba.
